I do best overwintering geraniums in my garage but the ones here are now 5 seasons old and ready to retire if and when a frost comes. When we moved to VA frosts were 9/15-10/15 36 years ago. In the last 5 years a frost came 11/1-11/4. This year and the 10day forecast still shows no frost and it’s 11/17!!! Great for the flowers yet no so for our climate I’m afraid.

Bree, that color of geranium is my favorite and I have a huge pot outdoors with 3 large plants. It started out wonderfully in April and suffered through the oppressive Texas heat all summer. Now, in November, it's returning to glory. I might try overwintering. Btw, lovely zooming with you this morning with Carl! I loved it. 😊🌱

I’ve tried overwintering geraniums the past couple of years, but no luck. My room might be too hot and dry for them. I’ve noticed they do much better in cooler temperatures (around 15°C) during the fall…

My geraniums on my front porch are a similar color and they are always the flower to hold out to the last, even past the frosts. Mine are under a small overhang. They do not get water, but I think they get some protection from the frost.
